JMFW 2023, Jakarta – The peak event of The Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week 2023 this year was held in conjunction with the 37th Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) on October 20-22, 2022.
Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, KH Ma’ruf Amin officially opened JMFW 2023 at ICE BSD City Hall, Tangerang, Banten, on Thursday, October 20, 2022.
Vice President Ma’ruf Amin said that the progress of Indonesia’s muslim fashion industry requires cooperation from all parties.
The government in synergy with designers, the beauty industry, and public figures should help each other in promoting fashion products in the global arena.
“We should be proud to use the wealth of our own nation in our fashion products.
This is also a form of protecting our cultural wealth so that it is not extinct and not claimed by other nations,” said Ma’ruf Amin.
The world of fashion and cosmetics are inseparable parts. Facing the global market, Indonesian halal cosmetic products have the potential to become a World attraction.
Mustika Ratu’s support for the JMFW is one of Mustika Ratu’s commitments to encouraging Indonesian muslim fashion.

Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) is a collaboration between the Ministry of Trade and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) with Mustika Ratu.

According to the State of the Global Islamic Economy Report 2020/21, global consumption of muslim fashion products in 2024 is predicted to reach USD 311 billion. Increased when compared to 2019 by USD 277 billion.
World consumption of halal cosmetic products in 2024 is predicted to reach USD 76 billion. It grows since 2019 which is USD 66 billion.***
