This is in accordance with the commitment of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Ir. Joko Widodo to make Borobudur one of the 5 super-priority tourism destinations launched by the government.
A total of 44 finalists of Puteri Indonesia with various professions of students, doctors, models, lawyers, public figures, employees, and entrepreneurs are ready to compete for 3 (three) new Borobudur crowns that are more luxurious, majestic, and dazzling offerings from Hartono Wira Tanik (HWT) for Puteri Indonesia 2022, consisting of a red crown for Puteri Indonesia, A Green Crown for Puteri Indonesia environment and a blue crown for Puteri Indonesia tourism.
44 finalists of Puteri Indonesia from 34 provinces have been in Jakarta to participate in the press conference for the 2022 Puteri Indonesia election held at Padang Room, The Westin Hotel Jakarta, Wednesday (18/5).

During the quarantine, 44 finalists of Puteri Indonesia 2022 will participate in several series of activities including debriefing from the Ministry of women empowerment and Child Protection, debriefing from the Ministry of Marine Affairs and investment, debriefing from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, debriefing from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, debriefing of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), a millennial class with Kaesang Pangarep, and no less interesting is the appearance of the finalists of Puteri Indonesia at the cultural-based Indonesian Fashion Show continued with the art and Culture Night as well as The Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week Fashion Show in Gandaria City and other activities.

The peak night of the 2022 Princess Indonesia Grand Final will be held Friday (27/5) at the Plenary Hall, Jakarta Convention Center which will be attended by Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz Sandhu from India, Miss International 2019, Sireethorn Leeramwat from Thailand, and 1st Runner Up Miss Supranational 2021, Karla Guilfu Acevedo from Puerto Rico.
There are several titles that have been prepared for the grand final night, namely Puteri Indonesia 2022, and Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2022. Also Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata, Puteri Indonesia Talented, Puteri Indonesia Intelegensia, and Puteri Indonesia Favorites.
