Yayasan Puteri Indonesia and Mustika Ratu successfully held the Indonesian Beauty Queen Contest, Puteri Indonesia 2022

Yayasan Puteri Indonesia – Jakarta – The Puteri Indonesia Foundation (Yayasan Puteri Indonesia) and Mustika Ratu successfully held the Indonesian beauty queen contest, Puteri Indonesia 2022 at the Plenary Hall, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, Friday (27/5/2022).

Laksmi Shari De Neefe Suardana finally won the title of Princess of Indonesia 2022. In the top three finalists, Laksmi outperformed dr. Cindy May McGuire from DKI Jakarta 5 became the First Runner Up. Adinda Cresheilla, a finalist from East Java was chosen as the second Runner up. The winners of Puteri Indonesia 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place had the opportunity to represent Indonesia in global events such as Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss Supranational.

This year, Yayasan Puteri Indonesia (YPI) held the 2022 Puteri Indonesia election after stopping due to the pandemic. A total of 44 beautiful women representing 34 provinces in Indonesia competed for the crown of Borobudur.

Puteri Indonesia 2022, which has entered its 25th edition, carries the theme of the Beauty and Uniqueness of Borobudur Temple.

This event was also attended by three World beauty queens. The Three World Queens are Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz Sandhu from India, Miss International 2019, Sireethorn Leeramwat from Thailand, and 1st Runner Up Miss Supranational 2021, Karla Guilfu Acevedo from Puerto Rico.

The Three Queens of the world together with the three Indonesian Princesses 2020 and the 44 finalists of the Indonesian Princess 2022 appeared very beautiful and glowing with a touch of makeup from the Mustika Ratu Beauty Queen Series and Bengkoang Series in collaboration with the stylish makeup of Bubah Alfian and the Mustika Ratu Make up artist team.

DKI Jakarta 3, Nitya Paramita Suwandi.

From the top 11, filtered back into the top 6 finalists. This time the finalists from West Java, East Java, Bali, Banten 1, Southeast Sulawesi, and DKI Jakarta 5. Then came 3 leading finalists, namely DKI Jakarta 5, East Java, and Bali.

After being crowned as The Princess of Indonesia 2022, Laksmi is ready to undergo the task of awakening Tourism and the economy of Indonesia and Bali in particular.

“With a large container that has been given by the Puteri Indonesia Foundation, I will socialize about Bali Tourism and tourism in Indonesia, especially its sustainable aspects,” she said during a press conference after the event.

Laksmi continued, that local Indonesian products to be proud of Indonesian-made products and the small business sector dominated by traditional artists and artisans can be promoted through social media.

Bali is an area that is intensively appointed by the government in order to recover the national economy affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The spotlight is also on Bali for its role as the host of the G20 Summit in November.
