President Director of PT Mustika Ratu Tbk (MRAT), Bingar Egidius Situmorang, attended the event with Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Indonesia, Mr. Sudaryono B.Eng., M.M., MBA, which opened FLOII Expo 2024 on the first day.

In his speech, Sudaryono said “Ornamental plants that were once considered less valuable have now become an important commodity. Indonesia, as a tropical country, has an incomparable uniqueness compared to subtropical countries that are accustomed to flowers,” said Sudaryono.

In line with that, Bingar Egidius Situmorang highlighted the great potential of Indonesia as the center of world medicinal plants.

“Of the 40 thousand medicinal plants in the world, most are in Indonesia. As many as 1,600 types of this plant can be used for herbs, cosmetic ingredients, and health products. This has long been an inspiration for Mustika Ratu to create innovative products based on Indonesia’s natural wealth,” he said.

Mustika Ratu’s participation in FLOII Expo 2024 was a special moment with the launch of Hair Care Series, A series of hair care products based on Indonesian natural ingredients, including shampoos formulated with typical plant extracts.
