Jakarta – PT Mustika Ratu Tbk plays an active role in supporting the Cosmetic Day 2024 event. An initiative initiated by the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia from October 29 to November 1, 2024.
Through it’s participation, Mustika Ratu reaffirms their commitment as a local cosmetics pioneer in developing a national beauty industry. The opening ceremony of Cosmetic Day 2024 was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry, Faisol Riza.
Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia appreciated Badan POM in educating the public about the importance of choosing halal and safe cosmetics.
Mustika Ratu Comes Up With Innovations at Cosmetic Day 2024
“Amid the onslaught of imports, we are still endowed with incredible raw materials from our nature for cosmetic products and local medicines. Export performance also increased, and many local cosmetic products such as betel leaves and perfumes are now a mainstay in the international market,” said Faisol Riza.
President Director of PT Mustika Ratu Tbk (MRAT), Bingar Egidius Situmorang, also supported the vision.
“As a pioneer of local cosmetics, Mustika Ratu continues to innovate and contribute actively through educational programs for the community.
In Cosmetic Day 2024, we held a talk show discussing the importance of healthy and natural cosmetics. It helps public awareness on benefits of natural ingredients that are safe and beneficial for skin,” explained Bingar Egidius.
Lisptick Making Workshop by Mustika Ratu
Not only talkshow, Mustika Ratu also held a lipstick-making workshop. This experience provides an opportunity for participants to understand the creative process behind quality cosmetic products.
The workshop is expected to inspire visitors on appreciating and support local cosmetics that are innovative and made from natural ingredients.
Through this activity, Mustika Ratu emphasized its role in influencing a national cosmetics industry that sustainable and has global competitiveness.
