Iranian Ambassador Visits Lengkong Outlets: Mustika Ratu Strengthens Role in Preserving Local Culture

PT Mustika Ratu Tbk (MRAT), a pioneer in the natural ingredient-based health industry, showed its commitment to supporting the promotion of Indonesian culture by participating in the visit of the Iranian Ambassador, Mohammad Boroujerdi, and his entourage to the Lengkong outlet MSME Center, South Tangerang, Friday, December 13, 2024.

This event is a strategic forum to introduce herbal medicine as part of the archipelago’s cultural heritage to the Iranian government delegation and local MSME actors.

In his speech at the opening of the event, the Iranian Ambassador expressed his admiration for the wealth of Indonesian local commodities. No exception herbs and natural ingredients Indonesia which is the heritage of the archipelago with a variety of extraordinary benefits.

He also highlighted opportunities for cooperation with MSMEs and herbal-based companies to support the marketing of local Indonesian products, including herbal medicine, to the Iranian market.

During the visit, the Iranian ambassador and his entourage visited the Mustika Ratu booth to see firsthand the various superior products based on natural Indonesian ingredients. He expressed his appreciation for Mustika Ratu’s dedication to consistently delivering high quality products, which have gained recognition both domestically and internationally.

As part of the series of events, the Ready to Drink Jamu drinking movement was held together which was attended by the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Indonesian UMKM role DPP, KH M Endy s Lesmana (Gus Hendy), director of PT Mustika Ratu Tbk (MRAT) Jodi Andrea Suryokusumo, Ambassador of Iran, Mohammad Boroujerdi, and delegates from other Iranian governments.

This movement aims to support the “movement to drink herbal medicine & traditional food for the Golden Generation 2045” which is the government’s agenda to revive the cultural tradition of drinking herbal medicine to maintain a healthy body towards the Golden Generation 2045. Enthusiasm for jamu Ready to Drink (RTD) was also shown by participants, including regional officials, MSME representatives, and visitors.

One of the MSME Representatives, Mrs. Yunita, assessed Jamu Ready to Drink (RTD) as a fresh and delicious drink, with natural ingredients rich in health benefits. This drink also attracted the attention of the Lengkong stall workers, who also enjoyed herbal medicine during the event.

With this event, Mustika Ratu continues to play an active role in preserving the culture of herbal drinking and promoting the potential of Indonesian natural products and Indonesian herbal products to the international stage.**
