Sukabumi – PT Mustika Ratu Tbk (MRAT) together with Yayasan Puteri Indonesia and Oppal multi Platform media partners held a social action to help flash flood victims in Cikembar District, Sukabumi, West Java. The activity held on Tuesday (10/12) is part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which aims to ease the burden of communities affected by disasters.

The aid was symbolically handed over by representatives of Puteri Indonesia and received directly by the Cikembar Sub-District Head, Ana Rudian Nugraha.

Also present were representatives of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) and local village officials.

The assistance distributed includes basic needs and health products from Mustika Ratu, such as shampoo, soap, Herbamuno, ready to Drink (RTD) herbal drinks, hand sanitizers, and foodstuffs such as ready-to-eat foods, instant noodles, milk, bread, and cooking oil.

This activity also received attention thanks to the presence of Puteri Indonesia 2023 Farhana Nariswari, Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2023 Lulu Zaharani. Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2024 is also the 4th Runner-up of Miss International 2024 Sophie Kirana and Puteri Indonesia Aceh 2024 Suci Annisa.

Mustika Ratu Peduli: Social Action for flash flood victims in Sukabumi

Their presence provides motivation and moral support, especially for children and women. President Director of PT Mustika Ratu Tbk (MRAT), Bingar Egidius Situmorang, expressed his deep condolences over the disaster.

“We are very concerned about the flash floods that hit the community in Sukabumi. This assistance is expected to ease their burden amid this difficult situation. As part of social responsibility, Mustika Ratu is committed to continuing to care about social issues facing the nation,” he said.

Bingar also stressed the importance of preserving the environment to prevent similar disasters in the future. “We urge the community to maintain environmental cleanliness, especially in the watershed. Also, preserve forests and trees as a natural buffer to reduce the risk of floods and landslides.”
