Bandung – PT Mustika Ratu Tbk (MRAT) supports the “OBA and cosmetics UMKM adoptive parents” program from BPOM.

This Program aims to increase the capacity and competitiveness of cosmetic, drug, and food business actors through strategic partnerships.

Later, it is expected to be able to encourage the growth of this industrial sector through synergy and collaboration between large business actors and MSMEs.

Collaboration Between Mustika Ratu and BPOM

PT Mustika Ratu Tbk (MRAT), represented by director of R&D – Quality, Dewita Agus signed and officially established a partnership as an OBA & Cosmetics adoptive parent with three MSMEs: PT Dhe Klopo Nusantara from Lamongan, CV Bedda Lotong Lariza from Bone, and PT Ammar Putri Beauty Care from Aceh. This event took place at the Trans Convention Center, Bandung, West Java, on Wednesday (16/10/2024)

To support the ‘Asta Cita program, BPOM strengthens cross-sector partnerships to improve the competitiveness of business actors.

Mustika Ratu supports this program by integrating it into the Jamunomic Ecosystem Initiative, a sustainable business ecosystem developed to optimize the value chain of products based on cosmetics, herbs, and other natural ingredients.

Jamunomic Ecosystem Received the ESG Award from Republika

This ecosystem includes herbal cultivation, processing by MSMEs and Mustika Ratu, and marketing of the final product. Jamunomic Ecosystem has been awarded the ESG Award from Republika.

Dewita Agus explained that “the adoptive parents Program is in line with the Jamunomic Ecosystem Initiative. We partner with local farmers, MSMEs, and local communities as strategic partners to ensure the sustainability of raw material supply, maintain production quality, and distribute environmentally friendly products.

We are confident this collaboration will strengthen the natural medicine and cosmetics industry in Indonesia. So that it can compete in the global market, as well as support BPOM’s vision and new government.”

Jamunomic Ecosystem received the ESG Award from Republika for its contribution to promoting economic prosperity through inclusive business.
