FG Winarno was appointed as Independent Commissioner of PT Mustika Ratu, Tbk on 11 June 2014. In addition, he has also been serving as Independent Commissioner of PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk since 2015. He also held various strategic positions in several professional associations within the food science industry. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Universitas Indonesia in 1962, Master of Science in Food Science from University of Massachusetts, USA, in 1968, and Doctorate degree in the same field and university in 1970. In 1982, Institut Pertanian Bogor, Indonesia, awarded him with Honorary Professor title in Food Science.
